Depending on how you use the device, choose the power supply option that best suits your needs.

a) Power adapter and USB connection: When connected to multiple power-consuming devices, please connect both the power adapter and USB cable to the device to ensure a stable connection.

b) USB connection only: When connecting to other power-consuming devices, just plug the USB cable into the device. This provides additional portability during use.

To achieve maximum performance, all devices and software must support USB 3.0 technology.

Use tips

For maximum performance, connected devices should not exceed a combined current of 3A (power adapter attached) or 900mA (powered by USB connection only), otherwise connections may become unstable or disconnect.

• Portable Hard Drive: max. 500mA
• USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drive: max. 900mA
• Keyboard: max. 500mA

2.4 GHz wireless devices, MIDI devices, and some USB 3.0 devices may not be supported. Try using the host port or a USB 2.0 connection. The device will sync but will not charge tablets and other devices that require a higher power input.
