Universal Wifi Repeater COOL 600 mbps (High Range)

The WiFi repeater simultaneously supports 2.4G and 5G wireless network connection, and can support 2.4G or 5G with speeds
    Wireless transmission up to 300M.

The WiFi Repeater is a combo wired/wireless network connection device designed specifically for small business, office, and home office networking requirements.

Allows you to expand a wireless network using multiple access points without the need for a wired backbone to link them. It also works well with other 11 b/g/n protocol wireless products.

NOTE: If you want to reset the Wifi Repeater, you must press and hold the RESET button (inside the hole) for 10 seconds.

    Wifi Repeater Configuration:

You can configure the Wifi Repeater through the network cable if it is connected to the computer, or wirelessly.

    1. Set up wirelessly

Plug the WIFI Repeater into a wall socket. Click on the Network / Internet Connections icon on your computer. You will find the WIFI Repeater signal. Click on “Connect” and wait a few seconds. Once we are connected to the network we will see that we do not have a connection, this is because we are not yet connected to our main router.

Open the browser and put in the URL bar “http://192.168.10.1”. That number is the default IP address for this device.

A login window will appear to access the control panel of the router. The username is “admin” and the password is “admin”. Then click "OK".

After logging in, we find the repeater control panel. You have to click on “Repeater” to continue.

Choose the network you want to connect to and link the Repeater.

Do not change any settings, just put the password of the router to which we are not going to connect. Click “Apply” and the repeater will reboot.

Wait a few seconds and search again for the WIFI network generated by the repeater and it will ask us for a password to be able to connect to this new network (keep in mind that the repeater will receive the key from our main router), once we connect to the network , you can use it now.

NOTE: Please check if the WiFi repeater is according to the factory default settings if it does not load the page with URL http://192.168.10.1. If it still fails, reset the WIFI Repeater and try again. (Side button)

    2. Set up with network cable

Plug the Repeater into a wall socket. Follow the previous steps to configure the Repeater, connect your computer with the Wifi Repeater using the RJ45 network cable and we will already have a cable connection to our equipment and a WIFI connection.

    3. Configure with Access Point mode

Plug the Repeater into a wall socket. Follow the steps above, but instead of clicking on "Repeater" when we access the control panel of the router, we will click on "AP". Once we click on "AP" it will take us to the repeater configuration screen, in this case we can choose the name of the network and the type of security we want or leave the network open (without password), the rest of options we leave them as is. Once we have it configured, click on "Apply" and our repeater will restart. This may take a few seconds.

Once the repeater generates the new network, we reconnect to it and access the router control panel again through the URL "http://192.168.10.1", once inside we will see in the right section "Wireless Status" that our router is configured as an access point "AP", now we need the last step.

In the control panel of the router we find several management boxes, because in the Internet box we click on it and another screen will appear in which we have to select how the repeater will generate the IP addresses so that we can access with any device, for this we have to select that the DHCP server is automatic, once this is done, click on "Apply", and our repeater will restart again.

When we already have it working and generating the network, we connect the RJ45 network cable to our router that will come from the main router and once this is done we can connect to the network that we have created and we will have an internet connection as long as our main router has a connection to Internet.

NOTE: If we have a problem when accessing the repeater control panel, we will have to reset the router manually (Side button). We can only access the control panel of the repeater before completing the previous steps, once it is configured with our main router, we can only access the control panel of the main router.

IMPORTANT: To be able to use the repeater again with new networks or new configurations we will have to reset the router manually and it will be by pressing the side button for a few seconds.
